Our Halloween tour will take you to all your favorite Irish Haunts! From ghostly castles to lively festivals we will travel around the island experiencing all the Irish traditions of Halloween. Highlights include the Bram Stoker Festival, Leap Castle, Ulster American Folk Park and the spectacular Derry Halloween where we will spend All Hallows Eve celebrating at this amazing festival and watching the Fireworks Finale! Day 3 : Omeath, Carlingford and Greenore
Stop At: Carlingford Marina, Carlingford, Cooley Peninsula, County Louth
After a visit to an Irish potter in Omeath where we will get to try our hands at making a mug and perusing the shop, we will go on a walking tour of the Viking town of Carlingford. After we will enjoy a live Irish Music Session in the evening.

Day 4 : Boyne Valley
Stop At: Irish Military War Museum & Family Park, Starinagh, County Meath
Take a walk through the trenches of the First World War, the streets of Dublin during the Easter Rising, and the dark years of the Second World War; the museum is packed full of fascinating history.

Stop At: Oldbridge Estate/Battle of the Boyne Visitors Centre, County Meath
The Battle of the Boyne is one of the most significant events in Irish history, part of a wider struggle for power across 17th century Europe. The Battle of the Boyne was fought between King William III and his father-in-law King James II on 1 July 1690. The kings were rival claimants to the English, Scottish and Irish thrones. Protestant King William (of Orange) had deposed Catholic King James in 1688. James went to Ireland where he rallied his mostly Catholic army, making a stand on the banks of the Boyne outside Drogheda. The battle is brought to life using a laser battle site model, audio-visual film, real and replica weaponry and interactive guided tours. The Visitor Centre is located in the restored 18th century Oldbridge House surrounded by Victorian Gardens and battle site walks.

We will have a Birds of Prey Demonstration near the Battle of the Boyne site. This demonstration is a wonderful way to get some unique photos and learn about Falcons, Owls and Hawks.

Day 5 : Silent Valley, Ghan House Cookery
Stop At: Silent Valley Mountain Park, Kilkeel, County Down, Northern Ireland
Ringed by mountains, 'The Valley', located within the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, houses beautiful parkland, lakes and a pond. It attracts around 50,000 visitors per year most of whom come to enjoy the peace and solitude of this mountain area with its unique landscapes and varied wildlife.

Day 6 : Brú na Boinne Visitor Center, Trim Castle, Slane Castle
Stop At: Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre Newgrange and Knowth
Bounded on the south by a bend in the River Boyne, the prehistoric site of Brú na Bóinne is dominated by the three great burial mounds of Knowth, Newgrange and Dowth. Surrounded by about forty satellite passage graves, they constitute a funerary landscape recognised as having great ritual significance, subsequently attracting later monuments of the Iron Age, early Christian and medieval periods. We will explore these magnificent sites and learn about their history.

Stop At: Trim Castle, Trim, County Meath
Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland, was constructed over a thirty-year period by Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter. Hugh de Lacy was granted the Liberty of Meath by King Henry II in 1172 in an attempt to curb the expansionist policies of Richard de Clare, (Strongbow). Construction of the massive three storied Keep, the central stronghold of the castle, was begun c. 1176 on the site of an earlier wooden fortress. This massive twenty-sided tower, which is cruciform in shape, was protected by a ditch, curtain wall and moat.

A guided tour of both Slane Distillery and Slane Castle. At the working distillery, you can see and learn how we make our Irish whiskey, from how we source our grains through to maturation. The tour culminates in a tutored tasting of our signature Triple Casked Slane Irish Whiskey. At Slane Castle, home to the Conyngham family since 1703, you can take in the 18th Century interiors and learn about its colourful heritage and history, including the legendary Slane Rock Concerts.

The Gandon Room Restaurant offers a dining experience you will not forget. Guests will enter through the Castle Courtyard and arrive in our relaxed and elegant reception area which adjoins the Gandon Room. Day 7 : Irish Farm Experience, Dundalk, Culture Night
Stop At: Causey Farm, Navan, County Meath
Visit Causey Farm and take part in a Sheepdog demonstration, meet some farm animals and learn some Irish traditions like Irish dancing, Bodhran playing and a Hurling demonstration. You will also enjoy some farm fresh Irish brown bread and lamb stew if you are feeling a bit peckish (vegetarian option upon request).

We will celebrate Culture Night in Ireland by spending the evening in Dundalk shopping, dining and taking part in the town fair!
